If you fondly remember wearing polo shirts and cable cord sweaters, the look has changed a bit over the years to be more modern; and today's preppy look includes a wide range of colors. Basically looking preppy involves looking neat and well-balanced without looking over done. We’re all familiar with the traditional preppy look. The polo shirts and khaki pants have become ubiquitous in our schools, malls, and parks. The things that make khaki fashion so persistent that it is extremely versatile. Wearing preppy clothes isn’t a single fashion statement that excludes other looks. Instead, it’s an overall aesthetic that can be easily mixed with other types of clothes. For instance, while denim jeans were once a big no-no in these fashion circles, today they have been absorbed into the look. Mixing a pair of blue jeans with a polo shirt is common today, whereas a couple of decades ago, most wearer’s of this fashion wouldn’t have considered walking out of the house wearing denim. Here are some celebrity that uses preppy fashion:       Basically, the main ingredients to be preppy will be vests, coats or jackets, polo shirts, shirts, shorts or long sleeves, and jeans or plaid-pattered pants. By: Si_ALOHAMILKYWAY (Dana) It actually took me a while to put this blog together as there are a zillion things women can wear when they go out at night, and as you'll figure out soon enough, us girls can dress up as heavenly as an angel and wickedly as a demon... and look just as "fashionably delicious" with either choices. In terms of style, the hottest trends this season would be one-shouldered dresses/tops, bondage and cutaway clothes, grecian goddess drapes, and fringes/flappers. Your look of choice would fork between "sleek and polished" or "feminine and romantic." The feel of your outfit also greatly depends on color - for those who want to look "divinely stunning", go for light colors and pastels (i.e. white, cream, yellow, baby pink, lavender, blue); while those who wish to be "sinfully arresting", bold and jewel colors (i.e. black, red, orange, fuschia, violet) are all the rage in 2009.
